SAP has a long-standing alliance with IBM—marketing SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (SAP ASE) running on IBM Power systems as a premier enterprise platform. So when the company optimized SAP ASE for SAP Business Suite, they took the new offering to customers in a joint marketing effort with IBM.
Moving customers to a new platform is not trivial undertaking, so we developed a year-long marketing campaign built around a robust content—and syndication—program. This included a microsite on TechTarget to host co-branded content. In addition, we supported the SAP and IBM sales teams with a meeting maker program, a TCO calculator and other sales tools.
