Challenge

Historically, SAP Business Suite applications had run on non-SAP databases, but with the acquisition of Sybase, SAP was in a position to change this. In 2012, the company certified SAP Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (SAP ASE) to run with its market-leading enterprise applications. With essentially all SAP customers using a non-SAP database to run enterprise applications, SAP needed an innovative way to communicate the compelling performance gains and cost savings of migrating to this integrated solution.

Solution

As part of a content and sales enablement program, we created a long-form white paper highlighting the benefits of the integrated SAP offering as well as outlining the simple migration path to SAP ASE. This content pillar was then proliferated into multiple formats, including a presentation for SAP’s sale force.
